Before and After

Kathleen and Dolores metal roof

We installed a new 26 gauge standing seam steel roof system on the 4 different buildings that Kathleen and Dolores have on their property in Lincoln.  We got creative and installed Drexel Metals Deep Blue Sea on the gazebo and main house and Teal Blue on the garden shed and garage.  We also put up some powder coated matching snow fences over all entryways so the sliding snow would not hurt people coming in and out.

Jim and Betty's Sun Room

Whitney’s built this beautiful 16 by 16 four season sun room in the winter of 2008 for Jim and Betty who live in Lincoln. They had approached us about being the general contractor for the project and they had wanted to keep the original footprint of their existing deck. We designed the sun room to have Harvey vinyl insulated rolling windows for easy use and to allow plenty of air circulation during the warm summer months. Whitney’s crew had suggested putting custom special shape vinyl windows at the top of the gable wall to allow for plenty of sunlight. A Thermatru insulated entry door was installed in an access area out to the yard.Standing seam metal roofing was used for the roof to match the existing and Certainteed vinyl siding was installed on the sidewalls all to match the details on the existing house. Tongue and groove boards and pine trim were used on the inside to provide a rustic finish to the room. A heating system was installed in the room and the old patio door was taken out so this is a permanent open room that adjoins the kitchen of the house. Now Jim and Betty have a space in their Lincoln home that they use everyday.

AHEAD - Whitefield before and after

This siding project in Whitefield for the AHEAD organization based out of Littleton was a needed improvement to the building as you can see. We used Certainteed white Main Street vinyl siding for the main part of the building and Certainteed blue Cedar Impressions half round vinyl siding along the top of the building to keep the original architectural look. We wrapped the corner posts and all window and door trim with custom-bent white aluminum. For the finishing touch we installed the same custom-bent white aluminum along the roof edgings and white vinyl soffit for the overhangs. Now the Main Street Whitefield building isn’t an eyesore anymore.

Mike's before and after

Whitney’s was asked to install a metal roof for this rustic cabin located in Franconia. Standing seam metal roofing was the preferred product chosen by our customer Mike. This was a challenging project because the cabin is so rustic that electricity was not available to our crew. We used a 26 gauge standing seam roofing in the color of charcoal gray. The roof turned out beautifully and Mike rustic Franconia cabin should be able to shed rain and snow for many years to come.

Bob and Sharon's Patio Room in Littleton, NH

Whitney’s built this beautiful 20 by 22 four season sunroom in the Fall of 2007 for Bob and Sharon who live in Littleton. They had approached us about being the general contractor for the project and for possible ideas to compliment their home. Our design team came up with the idea of constructing the sunroom on the back of the garage and putting in a heated hallway in the garage for easy access from the main house. We also designed the sunroom to have Harvey vinyl insulated rolling windows for easy use and to allow plenty of air circulation during the warm summer months. Whitney’s crew had suggested putting custom special shape vinyl windows at the top of the gable wall to allow for plenty of sunlight. Thermatru insulated entry doors were installed in two access areas from the new hallway and out to the existing deck. IKO asphalt roofing products were used for the roof and Certainteed vinyl siding was installed on the sidewalls all to match the details on the existing house. A Harvey storm door was added so the Thermatru door could be left open and allow for more ventilation. Tongue and groove boards and pine trim were used on the inside to provide a rustic finish to the room. Now Bob and Sharon have a space in their Littleton home that they use everyday.
